Deirdre Kelly Fine Art

(At the current time please contact John Hillian for any purchase requests)

Through Deirdre Kelly’s artwork we can share a sense of the passion, creativity and imagination that shone through during her life and art career. Her work encompasses a wide variety of styles and themes, from colourful expressionist works, to painterly landscapes,  to whimsical fantasies. The subjects vary from depictions of the plants and gardens outside her painting studio, to inspirations from trips to Europe, Japan, Central America, and throughout B.C. Included in Deirdre's paintings are several series of works. Most notable amongst these are the "Tsukiji Fish Market" series which includes depictions of industrial scenes and renderings of fish produce that Deirdre photographed during a visit to the famous Tokyo market in March 2015. Another important series was "Sustain" from 2016, which included paintings of B.C.s Peace River region as part of the campaign to stop the building of a destructive hydro - electric mega project. We hope you enjoy viewing these and other paintings on Deirdre's website, and we truly feel that the spirit of Deirdre lives through in these wonderful paintings.

This February, Deirdre's paintings were shown during the Pacific Baroque Festival.
